Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage accounting operations, financial reporting, GST compliance, taxation, and cost accounting for a Chemical / Minerals Manufacturing Company. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, statutory compliance, inventory management, and manufacturing-related financial processes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliation.
  • Handle GST returns, TDS, income tax documentation, and other statutory compliances.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, vendor payments, customer outstanding, and follow-ups.
  • Maintain purchase, sales, expense, and general ledger records accurately.
  • Monitor inventory valuation, raw material consumption, stock reconciliation, and production-related costs.
  • Handle cost accounting, product costing, and expense analysis for chemical and mineral products.
  • Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, and government authorities.
  • Assist in budgeting, cash flow management, and financial planning.
  • Ensure timely preparation of MIS reports and management reports.
  • Verify invoices, e-way bills, e-invoices, debit notes, and credit notes, wherever applicable.
  • Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with company accounting policies.


Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Practical experience in GST, TDS, taxation, and statutory compliance.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and manufacturing cost accounting.
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP / Tally Prime and MS Excel.
  • Experience with ERP or accounting software will be an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounting activities and meet deadlines.


Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • 5–15 years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in the chemical, minerals, mining, or manufacturing industry.
  • Hands-on experience in GST compliance, taxation, finalisation of accounts, and inventory accounting.
  • Familiarity with raw material purchases, production expenses, stock valuation, and manufacturing cost control.
  • Close attention to detail, integrity, and strong organisational skills.
