Job Description

We are looking for a Node.js Developer responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. Primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.

Responsibilities:

Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic.Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code.Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.Implementation of security and data protection.Integration of data storage solutions.Should be strong on Object Oriented Javascript (PHP Background).Should have developed backend services of mobile as well as web applications.Should have worked on NodeJS based frameworks (MEAN, MERN, Meteor) Knowledge in web socket based communication using Socket.IO.Knowledge of HTML/CSS/ Javascript/ JQuery is preferred.Good Experience in creating REST API on MEAN Stack.Should have experience in unit testing the code.Strong Object Oriented Programming skills Experience with a strong focus on API architecture.Familiarity with database technologies such as Mongo Neo4j, SQL Server, Postgres, NoSQL, etc.

Skills And Qualifications:

Strong proficiency with JavaScript.Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it.Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds.Good understanding of server-side templating languages.Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors.Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3.Understanding accessibility and security compliance.User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system.Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform.Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.Work as part of a team developing applications and services using Agile development methods.Contribute to team and organizational improvements in process and infrastructure.Build customer-facing UI and back-end services for payment processing administration and management.Effectively use tools and ingenuity to identify and fix defects before they become a problem.Experience engineering software systems of medium-to-large scope and complexity.Development experience designing object oriented JavaScript and SVG.Knowledge of web libraries and frameworks such as AngularJS, Polymer, and Closure.Familiarity with the whole web stack, including protocols and web server optimization techniques.Development of Node.js applications.Active participation in all aspects of solution development.Clarify requirements and discuss solution options with analysts.Drive application design in collaboration with architects.Implement/test and document solution, perform peer code reviews, troubleshoot and fix production issues.
