Description:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical sales, tendering, or project management in the solar industry.Strong understanding of solar technologies, products, and solutions.Proven experience in preparing, submitting, and managing tenders or bids in the energy or construction industry.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; familiarity with tender management software is a plus.Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Knowledge of solar PV systems, energy storage solutions, and other renewable energy technologies.Experience in working with clients, contractors, and suppliers in the solar or construction industry.Certification or training in project management (e.g., PMP) or sales (e.g., technical sales certifications) is an advantage.Knowledge of relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations in the solar industry.Tender Management:Prepare, review, and submit tenders, proposals, and bids in response to customer inquiries and requests for proposals (RFPs).Ensure that all tenders are completed accurately, on time, and meet the technical and commercial requirements specified by the client.Coordinate with internal departments (engineering, finance, legal) to gather necessary information for tender submissions.Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, local regulations, and client requirements in all tender documents.Technical Sales Support:Provide technical support to the sales team and clients regarding solar products, solutions, and services.Understand customer requirements and offer tailored technical solutions that meet their needs.Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and site assessments when required.Work closely with the sales team to drive technical discussions with potential clients, ensuring that the technical aspects are well-communicated and understood.Client Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.Assist in pre-sales activities by providing clients with detailed technical information, quotations, and supporting documentation.Address client inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
