Key Purpose of the Role:
This role will be accountable for increasing the company’s revenue and meeting the revenue targets of Banking domain clients by managing a Sales portfolio of Products, Software, Systems and Services by identifying profitable business opportunities, developing long-term business growth strategies and maintaining relationships with principals, consistent with initiatives and business objectives specified by the senior management.
Role Based Responsibilities:
We are looking for an experienced and result-driven Business Development person. We expect you to have experience and a big passion for Business Development for the Contract Manufacturing domain covering a spectrum of Self-Service Automation Products, Multi- Vendor Software and Apps Solutions, System Integration (SI), Software Products, Services (Cloud, SaaS, TIS, MS etc), Security Solutions, Digital, Mobility, Data, Platform solutions etc in line with the current trends and future needs of the Industry. Design, develop, and implement competent sales strategies and retention plans for revenue generation. Setting targets & goals for the divisions and ensuring achievement of the same for
business and revenue growth by maximizing profitability. Analyze sales data to inform or update marketing strategies. Provide leadership and consistently introduce innovative approaches to enhance performance, efficiency and customer satisfaction. Analyzing market trends and accordingly chalking out measures for countering competition. Provide direction on market sector positioning and lead the research for current and future markets. Generation of leads, engagement in pre-proposal strategic activities, preparation of proposals and quotations and their on-time submission, follow-up calls, order finalization, and post-sales responsibilities. Provide presentation and product demonstration support during the introduction of new products and services to potential clients. While retaining the existing accounts, increase new key accounts to expand business in different verticals through strong key account management and seamless operations including payment collection. Visit the Customers frequently to strengthen customer relationships, and discuss and provide solutions to open issues, on-time delivery, and quality concerns. Ensuring 100% regulatory and internal compliance in the sales process; training staff to attain zero miss-sell and complaints. Internal coordination with Manufacturing Heads and CFT members on Production follow-up and on-time deliveries. Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Plan, track, measure, and report on the status of a variety of projects. Use Customer feedback to develop effective product roadmaps and schedules. Early engagement with the customer to capture the requirements and wishes in the form of documents and provide input to the design team. Maintaining the revenue, P&L, Inventory, and Cash Flow of the unit as per the assigned budget. Analyzing departmental and company performance and assisting the senior management in devising plans for improvement
