Education : degree in geology,PG or specialization in geology
Salary :  2.5 Lac to 4.5 Lac /annual
Location : Beawar (Rajasthan)

Key Roles/ Responsibilities :

• Identify and procure Feldspar and quartz minerals from the geologically rich Rajasthan state.
• Analyze and interpret geological, geochemical, and geophysical information from sources such as survey data, well logs, boreholes, and aerial photos.
• Identify deposits of Feldspar, quartz, and assess the materials' characteristics and suitability for export.
• Investigate the composition, structure, and history of the Earth's crust through the collection, examination, measurement, and classification of minerals.
• Prepare geological maps, cross-sectional diagrams, charts, and reports concerning mineral extraction using results of field work and laboratory research.

Key Skills

• A senior geologist is closely related to many core sciences and so the individual should have thorough knowledge of subjects like physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics along with the subjects required for specialization in one of the sub-fields
• Good analytical and decision making capabilities are very important. A senior geologist holds huge responsibility to assure the accuracy of the forecasts made by him/her or the team

Educational Qualifications

• The minimum qualification required is a degree in geology. However, a PG or specialization in a relevant field is much sought-after.
