Description:
Minimum of 1 years of experience in back-office support or administrative roles, preferably in the travel or tourism industry.Knowledge of travel industry software, booking systems, and CRM tools.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressur.involves processing bookings, handling customer inquiries, maintaining records, and ensuring that all travel arrangements are executed flawlessly.Booking and Reservation Management:Process bookings for flights, hotels, transport, and holiday packages.Coordinate with suppliers (airlines, hotels, car rental agencies, etc.) to confirm reservations.Maintain accurate records of all bookings, ensuring that customer details, preferences, and special requests are met.Update and manage booking systems, ensuring real-time accuracy of information.Customer Support and Coordination:Assist the customer-facing teams by providing back-office support for client inquiries and bookings.Communicate with customers to confirm travel arrangements, provide itineraries, and resolve any post-booking issues.Handle cancellations, amendments, and rebookings according to company policies and procedures.Documentation and Record Keeping:Ensure that all travel documents, including itineraries, vouchers, invoices, and tickets, are accurately processed and filed.Maintain and update client databases and travel records.Prepare reports and summaries of bookings, payments, and other key metrics for the management team.Supplier and Vendor Management:Liaise with suppliers, travel agencies, and service providers to ensure timely and accurate booking confirmations.Track and follow up on supplier invoices and payment schedules.Negotiate and coordinate special offers, discounts, and promotions with suppliers when necessary.
