Description:
Must have overall understanding and experience in Printer products and their standards and Technical Support processes. Build and maintain strong, competent teams characterized by trust, coordination, and open communications. Understands performance appraisal (PMS); Executes and administers quarterly and annual reviews and delivers constructive criticism. Be a mentor to the Support team. Develop and coordinate recruiting and staffing in line with her/his business function's strategies and diversity requirements. Identifies performance issues and escalates to TSG team and follows up till the solution is provided. Manages the daily activities and Monitoring of the support team to ensure assigned tasks are completed in accordance with time, cost, and technical objectives. People management – Responsible for managing the customer support engineers working under his assigned territory. Customer Management - Responsible for extending Warranty/Post-Warranty Support (activities include Installation, Preventive Maintenance, and Breakdown Maintenance), effective management of customers to ensure customer satisfaction. Will be SPOC for the customers/field team for his assigned territory. Business – Responsible for achieving the revenue target thru the Annual Maintenance Contract / Sale of Spares / Adhoc calls Activity (to conduct demonstration). Commercial – will be responsible for the collection of payments against the Invoices raised for AMC/Spares/Adhoc call charges. Co-Ordination. Support the field team, with committed objectives, and schedules, and keep costs as per the allocated budget. Will be responsible for support of the respective Sales team in terms of technical support / Demo and any other support required in terms of the technicality of the product. Service Managers should have specialties in Printer Products, technology & process. The service Manager is expected to have a strong mindset toward Continuous Improvement (CI) and will be responsible for driving the CI initiatives. Will be responsible for successful execution of Projects ( planning installation, follow-up of documents related to the installation ...) and will be in close coordination with the HO project team.
