Description:
Candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of work experience in the Production department in the Pharmaceutical industry. having strong communication skills. Ensuring weekly and Monthly Production planning and preparing daily and all monthly production reports. Responsible for coordinating with other departments like stores, QA, Maintenance, purchase department, Planning, and Process development in day-to-day activity for enhancement of optimization resulting in an enhancement in productivity. Ensuring that the production schedules are followed and meet the deadlines. Optimization of product wastage by doing value addition in the product or essence derived during the production process. Responsible for managing batch records, and production-related data like the rejection of lots, production time, material wastage, etc. Overseeing the production process from beginning to end, helper hiring if required and supervising staff members, and planning schedules. Ensuring production schedule runs or shifts to ensure that operations run smoothly and efficiently to meet the business goals. Monitoring inventory levels to ensure that adequate supplies are available for production processes. Optimization of product wastage by doing value addition in the product or essence derived during the production process in consultation with the production team. Ensuring the product quality/standards are maintained during the whole process. Leading the team of the production department and coordinating several activities, including operating machines, production, processing, packaging, and, sorting. Ensuring that safety rules and procedures are strictly followed in the production department. Inspect works done by team members to ensure that they meet company standards of good quality. Ensuring the chemical in-process inspection, making sure the inspection results are documented, the inspection procedures are well written and the checklists are updated. Responsible to understand all production-related processes, methods, and ideas and suggest the best possible alternative to the higher authorities to reduce the overall production cost and increase production/productivity. Any other responsibility as assigned by the reporting manager.
